Reader Inspiration Board: Shades of Blush
We absolutely love getting little emails from our readers, asking us to help with inspiration for their celebrations! One reader recently asked us to create an inspiration board for her upcoming wedding- the theme: shades of blush! We love the use of gradients, or ombre, especially when it comes to pink. Keeping the colors in the same family, but using different textures, shades, and styles will really let the pink pop! We love mix and match bridesmaids' dresses, letting your girls pick styles and shades that reflect best with their shapes and skin tones. Does your groom dare to wear blush as well? In sweet southern linen or seersucker, giving him a blazer or jacket in a soft hue would play nice with the rest of the boys in navy or white. Blush pink also is a great neutral background for bold patterns like black and white stripes or polka dots, or going a little preppy with navy blue or kelley green (think Lily Pulitzer). Here is what we came up with! Want us to create an inspiration board for you? Just post on our Facebook wall!
